What are the methods for low-temperature toughening modification of PP?

(2) Polyolefin POE toughening, POE has the general characteristics of thermoplastic elastomers, low density, excellent heat resistance, excellent cold resistance, and a wide temperature range. It is an ideal material to change the low-temperature resistance of PP, usually, 3%-15 % Can make polypropylene PP reach -20 degrees, using POE cold-resistant grade to toughen PP, not only changes the original PP to be more resistant to low temperatures but also increases the impact determination.

(3) EPDM is toughened by EPDM. The most important feature of EPDM is its superior oxidation resistance, ozone resistance and corrosion resistance, and low-temperature embrittlement resistance. The use of EPDM cold-resistant particles to change the cold and low-temperature resistance of PP can reach -40 degrees. The cost is relatively higher than that of POE, but the performance is incomparable.
